Situation

Following a corporate restructuring, several teams were consolidated into a single business unit of over 200 people.

Challenges

  • Creating an overarching mission and strategic objectives for the newly consolidated team. Creating engagement across all levels to support the strategy.
  • Building a self-supporting culture that enabled synergistic growth and integration and clarified communication.

Approach

Olga worked directly with the group Head, the leadership team, and the overall partner group.

  • She focused on forging vital pathways for strong collaboration between multi-functional teams, generating authentic buy-in and catalysing culture change based on a common purpose, improved processes, and communication.
  • Through implementation of the balanced scorecard method, Olga facilitated necessary and transformative conversations with the leadership team to identify the strategic focus for the first 3 years.
  • To help leadership determine which actions and behaviours empowered employees and which didn’t, Olga created and co-facilitated multiple team workshops to gather feedback from a group of 200+ people. The Emotional Culture Deck guided emotionally intelligent, relevant conversations. Once collated, the feedback was presented to the leadership team with key themes and recommendations for the next steps.
  • Finally, as part of her business coaching services, Olga led a coaching programme aimed at pairing coaches from different teams to break silos, improve teamwork, and build synergies to support the team’s business development efforts.

Outcomes
