When I started my career nearly 30 years ago, I thought leadership meant having all the answers. I quickly learned how wrong I was. My unchecked emotions sometimes caused mistakes that impacted teams and relationships.

Those lessons taught me the value of vulnerability, self-awareness, and empathy—and how they shape leadership. Today, as the founder of Change Aligned, I help leaders and teams use emotional intelligence to transform how they work together.
